Almost Heaven Motorcycle Tours (AHMT) is owned and operated by Jim & Rita Robinson.  Jim, a retired Deputy Sheriff and Coal Miner and his wife Rita, a Registered Nurse, love to ride and enjoy sharing their vast knowledge of West Virginia with others.  We are the proud owners of a "GOLD" 2006 Honda Goldwing (Pictured Above).  We've owned it since March of 2006 and it has carried us to 30 states and over 36,000 miles.  Have we mentioned that we ENJOY RIDING?

We are members of the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) and the Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) in our area.  We enjoy attending rallies, hanging with our biker friends and being involved with our 4 children and our family.

Our Business

Our dream has always been to open a business that would allow us to assist other motorcycle enthusiasts in planning their motorcycle vacations.  In our travels, we've discovered first hand how hard it can be to find the "BEST" places to ride, not to mention finding the right place to stay for a comfortable night's rest and a good meal.  So we've taken the hassle out of the mix and developed tours that allow every client to show up, ride and enjoy.  It's as simple as that!

About Our Tours

All of our tours are planned with the RIDER in mind.  We take great care to remove all the stress out of vacation planning.  Leave it to us. We will
take care of booking the right accomodations, make arrangements for any special needs you may have, plan your routes, provide maps and brochures of sights you may want to visit, provide daily tour guide briefings and much, much more.  Your only responsibility is to come and enjoy the ride. 

Our Focus

When scheduling our motorcycle tours, we always consider the time of year we are booking in, climate for your desired destinations, and local attractions and events that may be "ON THE WAY" so that you can take full advantage of everything West Virginia has to offer.

We want you to enjoy RIDING at its BEST!  The perfect ride isn't always the Fastest or Slowest, it's more about excellent planning, good roads, and the freedom of just being out there with the wind in your face.  At times you'll swear you're on a Roller Coaster, then at other moments, you'll think there's enough peaceful scenery around me to fill a photo album.  

Most of all, we know that the PEOPLE you are with, make the trip.  That's why we are so committed to getting it right!  We envision lasting friendships being made on every tour we take.  After all, our reputation depends on it.
